China launches anti-dumping process due to the U.S. chicken imports
China initiate proceedings against anti-dumping and not allowed subsidies in the case of U.S. imported chicken meat – announced Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
The United States is China's largest chicken supplier. In the first half of 2009, 90 percent of the 407 thousand tonnes imported chicken meat, came from America. More recently, Washington has repeatedly complained about the Chinese export prices threaten domestic producers, and most recently a high-safeguard duty imposed in the market, in order to protect domestic producers, in the case of Chinese tyres – reports MTI Eco.
