9 hotels are entitled Hungarian Tourism Quality Award

Since 2006 from the 85 applicants 68 suppliers (56 hotels and 12 restaurants) received the award for outstanding quality and the title has been withdrawn in 3 cases.

4 hotels from Budapest and 5 from
the country fulfilled the strict criteria for the 2008 programme.
The winners are: Mercure Budapest City Center, Danubius Hotel
Astoria, Ibis Budapest Aero Hotel, NH Budapest Hotel, MenDan Thermal
Hotel (Zalakaros), Ibis Győr (Győr), Hunguest Hotel Répce
Gold (Bükfürdő), Puchner Mansion Hotel (Bikal), Park Inn
Sárvár (Sárvár).

The Hungarian Tourism Quality Award in
2007 has been accredited by HOTREC, therefore Hungarian suppliers can
use the European 2Q sign as well. The awarded can use the honor for
three years.
The tender for this year is already available from
2-28 February.
