The ”3 percent” ousted from the text.
News came after our magazine went to press that on 13 October the product path law, so much debated on the first day of the conference, was given a green light by Parliament, taking into consideration the amendments. A firm and unanimous opposition by the trade in Tapolca resulted in deleting from the law the 3 percent that maximizes background conditions. This means that in the future it will remain possible to realise POS, marketing, logistics and other types of cooperation. A complete paragraph deals with describing and prohibiting unfair distribution behaviour by retailers. The law enters into force on 1 January 2010.
