The development of artificial intelligence (AI) is so fast that most users worldwide experience it as a challenge, but at the same time they consider it the most decisive technological innovation of the coming decades – Bosch told MTI on Tuesday.

According to the company’s international survey, the perception of AI is increasingly favorable, and users expect it to have the most favorable social impact of all technologies.

56 percent of those surveyed are prepared to use it think, but about the same number would be happy if development would pause for a while so that there would be time to catch up with the changes.

According to the statement, Hungarian users have a relationship with AI that is roughly in line with the global average. While 53 percent a year ago, 60 percent this year consider it the most decisive technology of the next decade, while German and French expectations are slightly more restrained. At the same time, 27 percent fear adverse effects, and such reservations do not surround any of the other technological innovations – they added.

Due to the ambivalent value judgment, Bosch considers it important to disseminate knowledge and provide broad information.

Critical thinking and cybersecurity awareness must be developed for the responsible use of AI, and content posted on Bosch’s online platforms can also help with safe use
