The winners of the National Public Catering Chef Competition have been announced
At the Saturday finals of the National Public Catering Chef Competition (OKÉS) the team of Kehidakustány became the first in the event menu category, while the winner of the daily menu category became the team of the Sodexo Hungary Kft.
Zsigó Róbert, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), responsible for food chain surveillance at the awards ceremony told MTI that 1.5-2 million people are eating in public canteens every day, so it matters what is on the table. He said that negotiations will soon beginabout the quality-controlled catering system. The competition also demonstrates that in large-scale conditions, and with average costs safe and delicious lunch cabn be prepared from domestic, seasonal ingredients. (MTI)
