This year’s winners of the Parliament Wine Competition have been announced
This year’s winners of the Parliament Wine Competition were announced on Thursday, Speaker of the House László Kövér presented the awards to the winners in the Parliament building.
“Our commitment to the wine industry comes from our respect,” László Kövér emphasized at the announcement of the results of the seventh Országház wine competition held on Thursday, adding that every year Hungarian initiative and ingenuity are “called to action with honest faith and brave words” at the Országház Wine competition.
According to László Kövér, there cannot be an economic depression that could make Hungarian farmers indifferent to wine, reduce their respect, love, and ability to constantly renew themselves.
The speaker highlighted: quality wine production and trade can be maintained by ensuring a predictable legal environment, continuous development and adaptation. Due to the changing wine market in the world, new challenges are emerging and new actors are gaining strength, he added.
