The winners of the Wine of the Parliament 2018 competition have been announced

The Wines of the Parliament were selected for the second time; the eight winning wines will represent Hungary in the most important events of the Parliament.

The science of wine making is rooted in the days before the Hungarian conquest, and the Hungarians developed it further in the Carpathian Basin. The grape and wine culture have always played important role in Hungarian traditions, and Hungary has been recognized for centuries among the great winemaking nations – Kövér László, President of the National Assembly said on Friday in the Houses of Parliament.
