The winner of the joint design competition between Wienerberger and MOME has been announced
The joint design competition of Wienerberger Hungary and the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts (MOME) has been successfully concluded. The goal of the competition with a total prize of nearly HUF 2 million was to design the latest roof tile of the Tondach universal product line. The winning design is flat on the top and curved on the bottom, which fits perfectly into the Tondach pottery collection.
The tender entitled “Renewable tradition – Design of a new universal ceramic roof tile” was announced by Wienerberger Hungary, the manufacturer of Tondach ceramic roof tiles, and MOME, with the aim that the applicants design the latest roof tile of the Tondach Universal product line, which can be used widely and also may be attractive to him.
The first prize was won by Zsófia Zala’s design, the second prize went to Sára Nagy, and the third prize went to the work of Kristóf Dávid Szilasi. They receive HUF 1,000,000, 500,000 and 300,000 HUF cash prizes. The jury’s special prize was awarded to Ferenc Laufer’s application.
