The winners of the CheckINN Tourism Innovation Competition have been announced
The award for innovative ideas aimed at boosting domestic tourism was presented to the four winning teams at the national CheckINN Tourism Innovation Competition, to which more than 100 students from 18 universities from all over the country applied, the organizers told MTI on Friday.
The best teams received HUF 3 million scholarships. Among the winners are a project aimed at supporting tourism for the visually impaired, a SZÉP card application, a program to boost equestrian tourism, as well as a digital development that connects artists with possible exhibition venues, thus making use of synergies beneficial to both parties.
In the active tourism category, the team of the University of Pécs won the main prize with its project “Vakrandi a naturtälte”. Their goal is to expand the tourism opportunities available to the visually impaired.
