The winners of the 2023 Free Chef of the Year competition have been announced

The purpose of the competition organized by Csak a mentes is to draw attention to the importance of allergen-free, healthy nutrition, and to show that it is still possible to eat deliciously and diversely. For the event, METRO provided professional technical support, materials and location.

The participants prepared their free dishes using alternative ingredients, which can be consumed safely by almost anyone, and also provide a high culinary experience.

In the current competition, the organizers paid special attention to the observance of the principle of zero waste. The prepared plant-based and therefore naturally dairy- and egg-free, as well as gluten- and sugar-free dishes proved that, in addition to creativity and kitchen knowledge, the chef who knows as many ingredients as possible can meet the challenge.
