The Ministry of Agriculture supports Hungarian honey production
Hungarian beekeeping plays a major role in rural development, the preservation of the rural population and the maintenance of ecological balance – the Minister of Agriculture said on Sunday in Gödöllő, at the 11th Congress of the Hungarian National Association of Beekeepers (OMME).
Nagy István at the St. Stephen University said that it is not enough to produce quality, it should be sold as well, preferably in Hungary.
He added: honeys available in domestic stores and honeys purchased directly from the producers are safe, antibiotic and GMO-free and do not contain any harmful substances. (MTI)
