Magazine: Big growth in the non-food sales of National Tobacco Shops
Non-food categories realised 13 percent of total sales by National Tobacco Shops in 2017. The profit margin of these categories is 25-30 percent, while the profit margin of tobacco products is 10.6-10-8 percent. Sales were growing 2-3 times faster than in the base period in those tobacco shops where digital POS tools were used. Thanks to their locations, long opening hours and having many regular customers, tobacco shops have turned into a new retail channel. //
