IBUSZ expects excellent traffic this year
This year, travel agencies can achieve outstanding traffic, the year 2023 is expected to be even better than 2019, which is considered to be the peak year for tourism, IBUSZ told MTI on Thursday.
Nóra Termes, IBUSZ’s network and marketing director, highlighted in the announcement: their charter flights reached 95 percent occupancy by July this year, and this rate was typical until September. IBUSZ launched 20 charter planes per week this summer, with an average of 180 passengers per flight, and in addition, three more buses with the capacity to carry 70 people traveled to destinations in Greece.
