The long weekend in March brought outstanding results
The guests booked a total of 386,000 nights in Hungary on the four-day weekend related to the holiday until March 15, which is seven times the turnover of the record years before the pandemic, the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) informed MTI on Friday.

The pre-pandemic years are back in the booking data for the long weekend of March 15
Referring to data from the National Tourist Information Center, 78 percent of all guest nights were spent by domestic guests.
78 percent of the nights were spent in rural accommodation, the most popular area is the Lake Balaton, Mátra-Bükk and Budapest. (MTI)
