The food trade is well-balanced
The exports of agricultural and food products are slightly lower than the results of the January-September period of 2013, while the value of imports rose by four percent. The agricultural foreign trade surplus amounted to 2,338 million euros, 209 million euros (8 percent) less than in the base period.
The export of agricultural and food products expanded by seven, while the import of agricultural and food products increased by ten percent, compared to the January-September period of 2013. The prices declined. Calculated in euros, the export price was eight percent lower, while the import price was five percent lower, compared to a year before. (by our colleague)
