The education of consumer awareness can not be started early enough, so the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) in collaboration with the team of PontVelem.hu launched a series of playful quizzes for primary school children.
The children was surveyed from 4 March for 6 weeks in relation to food safety, quality, shopping, home food preparation and storage. “The quizzes were filled in by 2555 children aged 6-14. 64.8 percent of the students go shopping on a regular basis, sometimes go shopping 32.9 percent, while 2.3 percent never or only very rarely used to go to the store” Matolcsy Miklós, managing director of PontVelem Nonprofit Kft. told.
