At the after-party after the competition, the guests and the jury analyzed the competition and the next important development points of the profession in the company of their favorite cocktails.
In addition to the absolute winner of the competition, winners were chosen in 4 other categories from among the 12 finalists.
At the final held at the Sfinx Gin & Wine Bar, the most promising bartenders had to solve several creative tasks in order to win.
The total prize money of the competition was HUF 450,000, one of the undisclosed goals of which is to help the promising actors of the Hungarian bar industry.
“Nearly 50 bartenders applied for the first Opera Budapest Championship, which exceeded even our expectations. Perhaps it is also due to the fact that we set a special award for the best young and best bartender working in the countryside.”
