Pepsi-profit slightly weakened, compared to 2009
The PepsiCo Inc. announced that its second quarter profit decreased by 3 percent to 1.6 billion USD, to 98 cents per share from the 1.7 billion USD and 1.06 USD per share of a year earlier.
The company's turnover totaled 14.8 billion USD, which exceeds last year’s value by 4.2 billion USD, but this was after the acquisition of two bottlers. Wall Street analysts expected a 14.1 billion USD turnover, with a result of 1.09 USD per share. The company planned to reach a 11-13 percent growth in the 2010 financial year, compared to the 3.71 USD per share of 2009 – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
