Salary is not everything anymore. Half of Hungarians would rather say no to a job if they can’t learn new things there, according to the Randstad Workmonitor 2025 research. Today, employees consider development, new challenges and the development of human skills to be at least as important as a stable livelihood. Due to the rapid changes in the labor market, it is now essential for everyone to acquire future-proof knowledge that will allow them to remain successful in the long term.

The digital world is changing rapidly, and technology is taking over routine tasks. This is why the skills that will be indispensable for all employees in the future are becoming more valuable. These skills are now just as important as professional knowledge, as they determine who can remain successful in the labor market in the long term.

Adaptability

In a constantly changing world, flexibility is key. Employees who easily adapt to new situations find their place faster, whether it’s new technologies, jobs or even leadership changes.

Willingness to learn

Continuous development is now a basic expectation. Those who are open to new knowledge can more easily keep up with changes and become more valuable in the labor market. Companies are also looking for people who are eager to learn and develop.

Problem-solving skills

Machines are taking over more and more routine tasks, but solving unexpected situations remains the responsibility of humans. A good problem solver does not panic, but is able to quickly and efficiently find the best solution – whether it is a technical error or a difficult customer.

Using artificial intelligence

AI is already part of everyday life, and the European Union also requires that all organizations ensure access to artificial intelligence and the necessary skills. At K&H, for example, an AI training concept has been developed accordingly, which standardizes the level of knowledge, reduces uncertainties, develops soft skills for ethical use, and supports Microsoft Copilot, which has been introduced at the bank for more than a year. The program is built on practical foundations, which continuously supports the development of an AI culture, including, for example, conscious promotion, because well-formulated questions and instructions provide the basis for AI to provide truly useful, accurate and effective support in everyday work – and the related training courses are now run under the internal, easy-to-understand name “AI Legal”. The “AI Legal” online training platform was recently launched, which provides information on the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and provides preparation and practical knowledge for its safe everyday use for all employees.
