K&H: A rain of money is expected, but it doesn’t matter where the money ends up
Over the past five years, the number of SME bank accounts at K&H has increased by nearly 8 percent, to more than 118 thousand. At the financial institution, businesses can receive the 1,000 billion HUF subsidies expected this year through SME-friendly account packages: they can choose the schemes that best suit their own activities. In addition, the financial institution provides a limited number of electronic transfers free of transfer fees, as well as ATM cash withdrawals and deposits free of cash withdrawal fees.
A massive support offensive is expected for businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in 2025. According to the plans known so far, the Demján Sándor Program will be launched, within the framework of which more than 1,400 billion HUF will flow into the sector. The magnitude is illustrated by the fact that this is more than 8 percent of the total retail turnover for the first eleven months of last year.
Where will the money come from?
For companies that successfully apply for various sources, it is not important how they prepare for the level-up. Among many other things, existing businesses should consider their current bank costs, and new ones should consider the offer, because with the packages that best fit their own financial turnover, they can achieve significant discounts, for example with the schemes offered by K&H to SMEs – the financial institution announced.
“More than 118 thousand micro and small businesses currently have accounts with K&H, which corresponds to an increase of almost 8 percent compared to the level at the beginning of 2019. Businesses are becoming more aware, companies are paying attention to bank costs, and digital banking has almost completely gained ground today. Micro-enterprises can choose from three schemes, the different packages include a different number of electronic transfers – 5-20 – free of transfer fees for the monthly fee,”
said Ildikó Oraveczné Németh, Marketing Manager of the K&H Retail and SME segment. Furthermore, this year, the financial institution will not charge a monthly account package fee for new account openings for the selected account package for 12 months from the account opening.
