K&H: an exemplary alliance in the field of artificial intelligence development
The research cooperation agreement signed today by the representatives of the University of Szeged and the K&H Group aims at a more thorough understanding of the functioning of natural human speech. The goal of the research collaboration is to refine and integrate natural language understanding for a digital assistant powered by artificial intelligence (AI) available to all K&H customers.
In Szeged, Dr. László Rovó, rector of the University of Szeged, and Zsolt Vadócz, head of K&H digital developments, signed the research cooperation agreement that contributes to the improvement of the digital financial assistant operated by the financial institution.
In the fall of 2022, K&H launched Kate, the artificial intelligence-based digital financial assistant, in its mobile bank, which in less than a year has developed to such a level that from the end of 2023 it can also carry out transactions based on verbal instructions. 620,000 of K&H’s clientele have now met Kate, 320,000 initiated a conversation with her, and 10 percent of customers already use it on a monthly basis.
