K&H: it is better to pay with a card instead of cash even on vacation
K&H offers a solution for the troublesome foreign cash exchange. The financial institution refunds the conversion cost of card purchases to those who pay abroad from August to the end of September with their K&H card or smart device application, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Garmin Pay or Xiaomi Pay.
Card purchases already have many advantages over paying in cash, and now there is another argument in favor of the former thanks to K&H’s solution available this season.
“Card holders” will receive a refund
Customers of the financial institution who pay by card abroad between August 1 and September 30 do not have to worry about the cost of the currency conversion, as K&H will return this – up to a maximum of HUF 5,000 – to all concerned by October 31.
“With this step, I want to encourage vacationers to boldly use their K&H bank card abroad or our smart device solutions, such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, Garmin Pay or Xiaomi Pay. The refund is automatically granted to all concerned, no claim or request has to be submitted”
– said Gergő Molnár, head of residential marketing at K&H. He added that the discount applies to foreign purchases, not to net, online transactions involving currency conversion, orders, such as Spotify or YouTube subscriptions.
