K & H: the employment intention of SMEs did not improved dramatically
“On the basis of our survey among SMEs, significant staff increase is not expected in the forthcoming years, nor reduction. Medium-sized enterprises are more promising, of which nearly one in three companies plan to increase the number of its employees” – said Németh László, head of the K&H SME marketing department.
The recent survey conducted among SME managers shows that the employment expansion intention of the domestic enterprises incresed only slightly: the rate of companies planning redundancies increased by only 2 percent, while the vast majority of firms (70%) calculates with no changes in staff in the next one year. Only 14 percent of the micro companies has expansion plans, while 22 percent of small and 30 percent of the middle sized enterprizes plans staff expansion.
