K&H: personal loans have stalled
The demand for personal loans increased significantly at the beginning of this year, K&H announced. In the first two months of the year, the financial institution concluded contracts for 16 percent more personal loans, and the amount of disbursements increased by 33 percent year-on-year, and the average amount of disbursed personal loans rose to HUF 1.5 million. Double-digit growth can be seen at both customer points and online requests.
The market for consumer loans, including personal loans, revived. According to K&H, the demand for the latter increased significantly in the first two months of this year compared to a year earlier. “We expected that there would be more interest in personal loans at the beginning of this year: this is mainly due to the improving economic environment and the reduction of interest rates,” said András Árva, K&H’s marketing manager responsible for the residential segment.
