K&H: SZÉP card purchases can stop the decline in grocery store traffic
According to K&H Bank, purchases with the SZÉP card can stop the decline in the turnover of grocery stores, after it will be possible to buy cold food again for five months from August, and the annual discount limit will also increase.
In its statement sent to MTI on Friday, the bank highlighted that between February 1 and July 1 of last year, 26 percent of K&H SZÉP card spending was spent on grocery shopping, which shows that a significant number of card holders took advantage of this opportunity.
In addition to the re-introduction of cold food purchases, the use of the benefit is also facilitated by the fact that sub-accounts have been effectively abolished since January of this year, in the first 5 months of the year, 3.4 percent more traffic was carried out with the K&H SZÉP card than in the same period last year, but then also for food purchases could be used.
