K&H: We can really do something for a sustainable planet with authentic environmental protection programs
As a result of the tightening ESG regulations, social responsibility programs are being integrated into the activities of more and more companies, and professional organizations are trying to highlight with awards and trademarks those programs that actually contribute to a positive change in social attitudes, avoiding greenwashing.
This is also the case with the Green Pledge trademark, which was awarded this year by three K&H initiatives – the K&H animal-friendly groves program, the K&H agricultural CO2 calculator, and joint cooperation with WWF Hungary. The programs of the financial institution were created with the support of environmental protection organizations, with the active participation of the population and customers, thus drawing attention to the need to do something for the sustainability of our planet.
As a result of the ESG reporting obligation, more and more companies are incorporating programs aimed at environmental and social sustainability into their operations. According to the regulations, initiatives that can be measured, supported by data, and bring real results and thus positive change will count. This transition, according to which it is no longer enough for a company to run CSR programs, but also to support it
