K&H: More frequent card use by young consumers
A survey made for K&H’s youth index has found that 78 percent of 19-29 year old consumers use some kind of bank card, but only 38 percent do online banking and 45 percent use a mobile banking app. 49 percent of this age group (which consists of 1.1 million consumers) prefer cash payment, while those who engage in card or smartwatch payment spend HUF 66,000 per month on average.
