K&H: a gift, but what and from which store?
When it comes to Christmas gift-giving, clothes are the most popular choice among young people, with 67 percent of them preparing such a surprise for the holidays. Cosmetics are also a good choice, with 64 percent choosing them, while toys and food are also popular, according to the K&H Youth Index, which examined preparations for Christmas. It also turned out that cash as a gift is only considered by 28 percent of them.
There are fixed gift types, but there are also changes in young people’s gift-giving habits this year. This is what the K&H Youth Index came to, which looked at what kind of surprises 19-29 year-olds are preparing for the holidays.
The vast majority of those surveyed, 84 percent, intend to give gifts to their family members, acquaintances and friends. Looking at the different categories, clothing items are a hit, with 67 percent of those concerned counting on this surprise. Cosmetics are in second place with a result of 64 percent, and toys and sporting goods are in third place with 54 percent. Clothes and cosmetics achieved similar results last year, with 68 and 66 percent respectively. However, there is a decrease in the case of toys, with more than 60 percent choosing them last year, compared to 54 percent this year.
