AB Inbev would buy a craft brewery
Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewery, would buy a stake in the Craft Brew Alliance for 16.5 USD per share. About 70 percent of the company would be bought by the maker of the Budweiser beer – origo wrote after MarketWatch.
AB Inbev rejected a purchase of 22 USD per share or above.
However, in a recent announcement, it was announced that a successful acquisition of Craft Brew Alliance, which owns brands such as Kona Brewing and Redhook Brewery, could be acquired by a company based in Leuven, Belgium. (origo)
