Handicraft exhibition and gastronomic festival

Varsány, Nógrád county hosts an international handicraft exhibition and culinary festival from Thursday to Sunday.

The four-day program awaits the visitors with food tastings and costume show, but the visitors can also try blacksmithing or wood carving, – the mayor of Varsány informed MTI on Tuesday.

Pintérné Kanyó Judit told that the event begins with the opening of the international handicraft exhibition. Artisans of Nógrád County, Ragyolc, Fülek will present their products including straw and rag dolls, painted eggs, folk art dolls, ceramics, embroidery, crochets, forged products and wood carvings.
