The evaluation of the distillates sent to the Gyulai Pálinka Festival begins
The sensory evaluation of the samples sent to the Brillante – 2017 Pálinka és Párlat Verseny (Brillante – Pálinka and Distillate Competition) has begun on Thursday.
This year, more than 700 distillates were sent to the tournament.
Varga-Bora Tímea, the festival’s chief organizer told MTI on Thursday that a total of 557 samples were entered into the competition from the country. This is almost twice of the amount of last year. Distillates arrived arrived from beyond the border as well. 14 samples were sent from Serbia, 9 from Slovakia and 7 from Romania. (MTI)
