The season begins at the Lake Balaton

Over the past five years, the number of guest nights increased by fifty-two percent at the Lake Balaton, where this year a further recovery is expected.

Üsztöke Botond, president of the Hungarian National Tourist Office said, that the most important destination for domestic tourism is the lake, which last year received 1.2 million visitors. This year, among other things, two major international sailing competitions and twenty-six festivals will give an occasion to demonstrate the possibilities and the beauty of the lake – reports Origo, after MTI.
