The 34th Budafoki Champagne and Wine Festival begins
The events of Budapest’s oldest wine festival will start at 18:00 on the Market with the performance of the band Jammal and the GrooveTroop.
This is followed by Juliverz Feat Geier Ati with the greatest English and Hungarian pop-funk-jazz hits of all time, performed by a virtuoso studio guitarist from Köbány and a konzi singer from Strasbourg at 7 p.m. at Városház tér. The ceremonial opening will take place at 20:15 at the Market Square. Ferenc Karsay, mayor of Budafok-Tétény, greets those present, then dr. Beáta Olga Felkai, Deputy Secretary of State responsible for food industry and trade policy at the Ministry of Agriculture, gives a speech. At 9:30 p.m., we invite those interested to the big concert Legendary Songs, Legendary Voices, which will include the hits of Demjén Rózsi, Balázs Fecó and Kati Kovács.
