The Chamber launches free training for budding entrepreneurs
The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK), in collaboration with regional chambers, is launching a new, free training course for business planners and managers of existing companies. The aim of the program, called “Entrepreneurial Compass”, is to provide participants with practical, immediately applicable knowledge in financial, administrative and strategic issues. Applications can be submitted until August 26, 2025, via the websites of the participating county and city chambers.
The training is implemented within the framework of the Enterprise Development Project, with the support of the Ministry of National Economy, and takes place in a so-called blended learning format, which combines e-learning materials – such as videos and case studies – with contact classes. The course covers four main topics: the process from idea to concept, business planning, knowledge related to taxation and administration, and the basics of crisis management. Participation is completely free, and the flexible learning format allows participants to progress at their own pace. At the end of the program, a certified certificate confirms the knowledge acquired.
The training is open to both beginners and entrepreneurs about to start, and is also recommended for those who want to strengthen their business knowledge and consciously build their business. The start is expected in September 2025, the exact date will be provided to applicants after registration. The application interface and detailed information are available on the websites of the regional chambers (mkik.hu/teruleti-kamarak). If you have any questions, the staff of the local chamber of commerce and industry are at your disposal.
