The milk market has changed little
According to AKI Páir, the average price of the raw milk in Hungary was 208.55 HUF/kilogram in February 2025. With a 0.02 percentage point deterioration of fat content, stagnation of protein content and 1 percent increase in basic price, the average price of raw milk increased by 1 percent in February 2025 compared to January 2025 and 27 percent higher than the average month of the previous year.

In February 2025, the acquisition of raw milk was 7 percent, while February 2024 was 1 percent higher. The export price of raw milk was 196.46 forints/kilograms in February 2025, falling by 1 percent compared to the previous month, while the export price of the same month of the previous year was 26 percent. The export price was 6 percent lower than the average producer. According to AKI Páir, the delivery of raw milk decreased by 15 percent in February 2025 compared to the same month of the previous year.
