Hungarians are traveling less domestically, but spend more
The Hungarians spent more during their domestic trips in 2013 than a year earlier, despite the fact that the number of trips and the time spent both significantly reduced – the Report on the performance of tourism 2013 publication of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) shows.
The daily expenditure per traveler, increased by 16 percent to 4,315 HUF last year compared to 2012. On multi-days domestic trips trips the Hungarian population spent 258 billion HUF in 2013. At current prices it is similar as the spendings of the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) states. (MTI)
