Less beer was brewed in the Czech Republic last year than a year earlier
Last year, Czech breweries brewed 19.6 million hectoliters of beer, 2.8 percent less than a year earlier, an association of Czech brewers said in Prague on Thursday.
Beer consumption per capita has also fallen from 135 liters in 2020 to 129 liters. The amount of beer produced and the per capita consumption of beer have been declining for the second year in a row, the announcement points out. (Kokes János, MTI)
