Borsodi Brewery sold less beer, but retained its employees last year
According to publicly available data, the net sales revenue of Borsodi Sörgyár Kft. In 2019 was 44.6 billion HUF (of which domestic sales were 41.7 billion HUF and export sales were 2.89 billion HUF), which was about 10 percent higher than in the previous year. The company’s operating profit was 828 million HUF in 2019 after 202.5 million HUF in the previous year. The company, which employs 420 people, does not publish last year’s data yet, all that has been said is that in line with market trends, the turnover decreased by almost 7.5 percent compared to 2019, domestically by 9.7 percent.
