Lower praline sales in the first 6 months
According to GfK Hungária’s ConsumerScan, average praline sales exceeded 1.3 kg (approximately 8 boxes) in the first 6 months, we usually buy 1-2 boxes once a month. Buying frequency was up, but the volume bought per shopping was down. Up until last year, the category kept growing, but this trend broke this year. Prices increased more than the inflation level, among both private label and branded products.
