Fewer ready packaging but more packaging material entries at this year’s Hungaropack
In 2012 the Hungarian Association of Packaging and Materials Handling (CSAOSZ) organised the 29th Hungaropack Hungarian Packaging Competition.
There were 53 entries from 31 companies, from which 47 were consumer and collective packagings and 6 were transportation packagings. From the food sector 38 works were sent in, the cosmetics and chemical product segment competed with 6 packaging solutions and from other sectors there were 9 entries. The highest number of packaging solutions used paper (39) and there were 14 plastic packagings. No independent glass packagings were sent in but there were 4 gift packaging solutions that used glass too; no metal packaging competed this time. The jury evaluated works on 27 June 2012; the five entries which scored the highest won the HUNGAROPACK prize and another 31 with high scores were awarded special prizes, while 9 works were awarded diplomas.
