Less grain has grown in Russia
The SovEcon revised its forecast on this year’s grain crop downward with several millions of tons, due to the drought in the Volga region.
The market research institute estimates that 72 to 75 million tons of grain will be harvested this year, instead of the expected 78.5 to 81.5 million tons. Wheat harvests will be around 40.5 to 43 million tons while 46.5 million was expected previously. (MTI, tozsdeforum.hu)
