Tesco fires less employees
There will be no redundancies, due to the law imposing a ban on Sunday work – that can be read in the letter sent by Tesco to its staff. However, the department store chain still fires 150-170 employees.
The Napi Gazdaság reports that the letter was sent to the staff, because too many people started to look for a new job because of the uncertainty. The smaller dismissal is due to the fact that the company could offer a job to the large part of the 570 people who are affected in the dismissals. (portfolio.hu)
