The Universal Leaf Tobacco is taking less tobacco from the producers this year
The ULT (Universal Leaf Tobacco) Magyarország Zrt. will significantly reduce its tobacco-producing areas, as well as the yield bought from the farmers this year – the CEO of the Nyíregyháza-based tobacco processing plant told at a forum on Tuesday in Nyíregyháza.
Bittner Imre explained that unsold tobacco stocks are rising all over the world, the tobacco processing plant in Nyíregyháza that blongs to the Universal American Corporation is facing the same problem, because of the previously purchased and stored tobacco. (MTI)
