Fewer companies but more limited partnerships were established last year
According to preliminary data from the Céginfo.hu database – operated by Wolters Kluwer Kft. and Napi.hu – 31,811 enterprises were started in Hungary last year. This is 6 percent less than the number of firms established in 2012. However, 2,841 limited partnerships were formed in 2013, while in 2012 only 623. This is partly due to the changes in tobacco product retail and the new actors that appeared in the sector.
