Less wine in the cellars this year
This year's wine quantity will be less than the average – said Horváth Csaba, Secretary-General of the National Council of Mountain Villages (HNT) on Thursday, at the Parliamentary session of the Agriculture Subcommittee on viticulture and wine-making.
The MPs were reported over the situation of the industry at the meeting. HNT's Secretary-General indicated that this year's grape harvest was on about 64 thousand hectares. It is an about 470 thousand tons of grape quantity. It is expected that 2.5 million hectoliters of wine will be made from this amount – reports MTI.
