Children collected two tons of beverage cardboard at the zoo environment program

About five thousand children, who took part in the Zoo’s Happy Box Days environmental program, during the weekend collected almost two tons of beverage cardboards.

In the environmental action of the Beverage Cardboard Environmental Association (IKSZ) and the Zoo, 4,866 children participated, two times more than year's event – the organizers told.
The children collected a record quantity of almost 2 tons, more than 60 thousand pieces of beverage cartons. Those kids who collected at least 10 pieces of separately collected fruit soup and milk cartons received free tickets to the zoo. The cardboard collected by the children will be recycled by the Beverage Cardboard Environmental Association (IKSZ). (MTI)
