Vértesi Power Plant bout to lay off 200 people
Vértesi Power Plant has informed MTI about the company' plan to lay off 200 people to the local labor office.
There are no exact details of the subject matter yet, Vértesi Power Plant will announce the final numbers and pace of layoffs after a general shareholders meeting in the middle of December, spokesperson Peter Mamusits informed MTI. The power plant, a unit of the state-owned Hungarian Electricity Works, filed for bankruptcy protection in late August.
