Recession seem to have had an overwhelming impact on tourism: decrease in the income of restaurants can be over 30-40 percent.
János Tóbiás, CEO of Danobius Hotels Groups talked about the short-term effects of the crisis in the field of tourism at a university lecture. He pointed out that the interest in 3-5 star hotels is likely to decrease with around 41 percent in Hungary.
