dm closes with double-digit traffic growth
Permanent prices that do not rise for four months, dm-branded products with a good price-value ratio, the development of online services and favorable offers for regular customers also play an important role in the fact that dm was able to close the business year successfully with an increase in turnover.
Even in challenging times, dm believes in innovative, forward-looking solutions, it consciously moves towards its set goals in several strategic areas, all the while reacting flexibly to current events. In the changing circumstances, dm successfully closed the financial year with a turnover of HUF 162 billion (store and online shop), thus achieving an increase of +21.79 percent compared to the previous financial year. The growth gave dm the opportunity to continue the started developments, to implement and expand its social responsibility initiatives, and to provide its employees with stable and predictable working conditions. The developing online shop played an important role in the economic result, which closed with a 50% increase in turnover.
The dm concern (Germany, Austria and its member companies) achieved a turnover of EUR 13,581 million (+10.7%) with a total of 3,945 stores and more than 71,620 employees.
