Cage eggs: let the consumers decide!
When the Visegrád Four (V4) countries and the representatives of Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania and Romania met in Prague last time, the agri-food chambers of the V4 countries declared that those retail chains which plan to ban farmers who produce cage eggs from their stores are simply imposing measures that restrict market access. Hungary’s Egg Association had the chance to give a presentation at the event about the problem.
